Exams and Consultations

Oxmoor Animal Clinic offers preventive care and services for kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. Bringing your pet to us for a physical exam is the best way to help them stay healthy.

Annual Checkups and Bloodwork

Regular exams allow the veterinarian to detect problems and diseases that could go undiscovered otherwise. This includes heart murmurs, tumors, enlarged organs, cataracts, ear infections, ear mites, dental disease, skin issues, and allergies.


Blood tests allow us to detect hidden diseases early on in pets that appear healthy. Blood work can point the doctors in the right direction so they can begin care and treatment.

Nutritional Consulting

It is no surprise that what your pet eats and how much they eat directly impact their health. Achieving the right nutritional balance will significantly improve the quality of your pet's life.


We will work with you to find the right food and the proper intake amount for your pet's dietary needs.

Microchipping

1 out of 3 pets will get lost at some point in their lifetime. Without identification, 90% will not return home. We offer pet microchipping. A microchipped pet is more likely to return home if ever lost.


A microchip is an electronic device that's only about the size of a grain of rice. The tiny chip has a unique serial number; this serial number is linked to your personal contact information.

Vaccinations

Our in-house pet pharmacy is stocked with parasite preventatives and prescription medications used to treat injuries and illnesses of all kinds. Our in-house pharmacy ensures our patients receive fast and efficient treatment and is convenient for our pet owners.

In House Laboratory

No need to wait days for results; we can identify animal conditions in a matter of minutes, allowing your pet to receive the care they need as fast as possible.

X-rays
